PODS, the self-storage and moving company that has worked to make relocating easier with portable containers, realized that a large portion of their customers were in the military. Since military families move an average of once every three years, this was no surprise, but it inspired PODS to create a special offer for military families.
Implemented and protected by SheerID, military customers can call into the PODS call center to redeem the discount. Upon successful verification, different static promo codes are award based on affiliation.
Using a hosted call center landing page to verify their military status, call center employees are shown success and failure pages that are specifically customized for PODS with information fields, including Customer ID. On the backend, SheerID also triggers a request ID that gives PODS additional insight in the reporting dashboard. In the cases when automatic verification requires additional information, document review is available.
With a custom implementation from SheerID, PODS is able to issue a very special promotion for deserving military families making the move to their next post.
