It’s been an incredible year for SheerID, and as our team gets ready to celebrate the holidays, we wanted to take a few moments to look back on 2017 to remember some highlights, and of course share pictures from our annual holiday party to top off a great year.

Wonderful Client Additions

For more than 5 years now, SheerID has worked with brands of all sizes, in all industries to offer special deals to a variety of consumer groups. From hardworking teachers and administrators, to students dedicated to their education, and of course, the military community who continually sacrifices so much for our freedom, these deals are all powered and protected by SheerID’s technology.

This year, we welcomed dozens of new clients to the SheerID family. Here are just a few:


As a thank you to the men and women who serve our country, Lowe’s is proud to offer an exclusive military discount. All active duty, veterans, spouses, and dependents are eligible to receive the everyday 10% military discount.


J. Crew

Though it has long-offered a student and educator offer in it’s stores, J. Crew decided to enlist SheerID to bring their discount to all its channels. All verified students and teachers receive a 15% discount on J. Crew purchases.



As part of its longtime commitment to supporting veterans, active military members and their families—including thousands of its own team members—Target was proud to offer a Veteran’s Day military discount from Nov. 7-11, 2017 of 10% to all active duty military, veterans and their spouse and/or dependent children.



Product Releases

Our team is constantly working on both perfecting our current product offerings, and developing new, one-of-a-kind products that will continue to help our clients reach their goals. This year, we added a variety of product updates, especially to our self-service center.

In addition, we released a new product our customers something they had been asking for: International Student Verification. As of April 2017, our customers are not only able to offer student promotions that can be verified in the US, but in 40 countries in dozens of different languages.

Spotify was just one client who took advantage of this new product, launching its student offer across the globe, all powered by SheerID’s platform.

New Hires

SheerID is rapidly growing, and throughout 2017, we added some wonderful new team members across our organization. From Customer Service to Engineering and Product Development, to Marketing and Sales, we’ve seen some great additions that are expanding and invigorating the innovation of SheerID.
