Our 2013 New Years Resolutions
2012 was a pretty great year for SheerID, but now that the ball has dropped, we’re looking forward to making 2013 even better. New Years Day is always a good time for reflection, today we’re taking a hard look at what we did well last year and what we can improve on in the new year. These are a few of our top resolutions for 2013.
1. Make it easier for companies to offer discounts to those who deserve them
in our book that includes everyone from the teachers who are educating our children to the small business owners who are working to create jobs and foster innovation.
2. Support our troops.
We think it’s important to thank our active duty military, their families, retired servicemen and women, and veterans for the sacrifices they’ve made to protect our freedoms. In 2012, we helped a record number of companies launch special offers for the military. In 2013, our goal is to smash that record. We also want to keep looking for ways to support the military families in our own community, like we did this Christmas by partnering with the local National Guard to make one military family’s Christmas wish come true. It was one of the highlights of our holiday season, and we were thankful for the opportunity to help out. You can count on seeing us at Lane County Veterans Stand Down event next Veteran’s Day too.
3. Make new friends.
We learn so much every time we attend a new event, go to a conference like FutureTix, partner with a new organization like Challenge America, speak on a panel, or even just sit down for a phone call with a new company to talk through their business model and discount strategy. In 2013, we want to get to know even more of you. We’ll be at InTix in Florida in late January and DeveloperWeek in San Francisco in early February. If you’re in town, let us buy you a drink.
So there you have it. Here’s to making New Year’s Resolutions you actually think you can keep! What are your resolutions for 2013?
