NRF Protect 2016: SheerID and Buckle to Arm Retailers in the Fight Against Fraud

13 Jun NRF Protect 2016: SheerID and Buckle to Arm Retailers in the Fight Against Fraud

CMO to share tips and insight on utilizing verification to combat margin erosion

Eugene, OR — June 13, 2016 — This week, Marci Hansen, CMO and Co-founder of SheerID, will be speaking at NRF Protect 2016, hosted by the National Retail Federation, to educate attendees on strategies to protect against fraud while employing omnichannel solutions necessary to thrive in today’s retail climate. Marci will be joined by Cassie McDonald, Project Manager at The Buckle, a fashion retailer who operates an online store and brick-and-mortar locations.

The 30 minute session will focus on the seriousness of discount fraud and how SheerID’s eligibility verification technology protects the assets of Buckle and other retailers. Attendees will walk away with examples of actionable, omnichannel solutions for preventing fraud without adding obstacles to the customer experience.

“As the retail industry continues to shift with the growth of ecommerce and mobile shopping, loss prevention has been thrust into the spotlight more than ever before,” says Hansen. “Retailers need to understand how to meet customers’ demands without risking revenue loss, and this event is a great opportunity to absorb all the necessary information to do just that. I’m excited to share what we’ve learned and how verification can aid in fraud protection for today’s retailers.”

NRF Protect is a two-day event that brings together hundreds of professionals responsible for securing retail’s success across various functional areas, and more than 2,500 retail, chain restaurant and law enforcement professionals, as well. Attendees will learn about all aspects of loss prevention, and hear from a variety of thought leaders, including SheerID, on a variety of topics including  store-level shrink, internal theft, organized retail crime, cyber and data security, asset protection, fraud detection and more.
